Here's an interesting article about drinking too much water. I just came across it a few minutes ago and tho't it pretty interesting. I drink close to 64 oz of water a day, (I weigh about 118 lbs., but tend to have cold hands and feet all the time. This article mentions that too much water can cause that. Was wondering if others can relate and what you think about the article.

I personally almost always have frigid hands and feet yet consume most of my liquid in the form of coffee, which dehydrates you. I have maybe 3 cups of water a day.0 -

Coffee doesn't dehydrate you...your intake counts towards your water0 -
I drink about 9-10 pints of water a day, on an average day. I also have hideous circulation which causes me to have freezing hands and feet. On the days I do drink less water, I feel really ill and when I used to drink less water on a regular basis my circulation was worse than it is now.
I am more than happy with my intake :-)0 -

The diuretic effect of the caffeine, if there even is one, is more than outweighed by the water you're taking in when you drink it. Caffeine does however have some vasoconstrictive properties associated with it, which means less blood flow and might contribute to your cold extremities.0
