Weird weight loss cycles? Whats yours?

Anyone else have a weird weight loss cycle? I've been at this about 6 months now. I go up to a month with out losing weight then suddenly over a 2 to 3 day period i will lose up to 3 or 4 pounds. It justs weird to think about, I get a little
about the plateau then one morning im 1 pound lighter, then the next day another 2, then another pound the next then another plateau for another 3-4 weeks. Technically I am losing on average 1 pound a week which is my goal as im also muscle building but gosh its just so dang weird lol!

I think this is pretty normal.
I will not lose weight for 3 weeks, then lose 0.5lb the next week, then 2-3lbs the week after and then nothing again for 3 weeks. Overall I still average 1lb per week so thats all that matters.
It actually doesn't bother me anymore when I don't see the loss because I know its all part of my trend.0 -
Yes it's how it works for me. I start losing with my period and I lose 2-4 lbs in the following week, then gain back 1-2 lbs of water weight, and it goes away with my next period and I start losing again. Unfortunately it also means that if I skip a period, I don't lose weight that month.
From what I read somewhere, your fat cells are progressively filling up with water, and you just shed them all at the same time (last time it happened to me I seriously had to pee 20 times in one day).
So now I just weigh myself after my period until my weight starts going up again, then I don't bother again until my next period, lol.0 -
I lost weight only 2 weeks out of the month, or my cycle. The week after ovulation and the week of AF I wouldn't lose anything, maybe gain some water weight and bloat, then the 2 weeks after AF i would lose up to 3-4lbs in 2 weeks. Overall I lost on average 0.75-1lb a week.0

Yup. I would see the scale go UP 3 before my period, then down 4 on the last day.
Then it would go down a bit more, then up 1-2 with ovulation, then down a lot...then
small ticks down til it was time to go up again. But I lost 5-6 a month pretty regularly.
And yes, like Franci, right after my period ended I'd have what I called "woosh day" where I would pee all day. And then I'd see what I had truly lost that week.0 -
I was the same way up and down, this last year I drop 25-30 lbs I don't know if this has anything to do with the weight loss I was cutting down on food portions but I started drinking tea in between when I was hungry and it did fill me up and I noticed my weight started to come down.0
