I found this interesting blog post: http://coolefitness.com/blog/number-of-calories-in-boogers/
"On a typical day we swallow about 4 cups or 200 calories in boogers a day. When we are sick this can easily double or triple, no wonder I wasn’t really all that hungry."
200 calories could probably screw up some people's deficits. And if you are sick? You might be going over an not even know it!

bahahaha. I guess I should tell my toddler now to stop picking her nose before she even gets to elementary school0 -
*boggles* It's just recycling stuff already in your body so really doesn't count.0

No, picking your nose is good, it gets the calories out of your body so they can't be swallowed. Well, unless she eats it after she picks it.0

So are you saying this is exercise....can we add "Picking Boogies" to our existing routine? Would this count as strength training or cardio?0 -

You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.

Oddly enough, this was the slogan on a poster that was hung in my 5th grade elementary classroom.... which I remember most vividly. LOL!0 -
