Its fries. I'd love to tell you that the company I work for is the healthiest, but the truth is- fried is fried. And deep fried is worse. The healthiest fries are the ones you make at home, from sweet potatoes, with non stick spray on a cookie sheet in your oven.0

idk about healthiest, but if imma eat fries that arent homemade- Imma eat Micky D's0

If you eat them that seldom, don't worry about it! Indulge! They're all bad!
Speaking of sweet potatoes! I dug mine up yesterday and that's on my menu for this afternoon! (Though I chip slice them so they get crispier than as fries).0 -
I don't know but I DO know the unhealthiest (as they are plain out fries) is Arby's Curly Fries.0
-
According to eat this not that...Wendy's fries are the most calorie friendly.0

That may have been true, but below is a quote from another thread today about Wendy's Fries that you might find interesting:http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101110/ap_on_bi_ge/us_wendy_s_new_fries
THE NEW FRIES HAVE DOUBLE THE SODIUM AND MORE CALORIES THEN THE OLD ONES, CHECK OUT THE ARTICLE.
The link to the thread is:

BTW, I vote for homemade, baked sweet potato or regular potato fries.0 -

Life is a lot about choosing the lesser of two evils. That's why so many people get married more than once!!!!0 -

Homemade fries... go that way. You can find some recipes online which you can modestly fill your plate with no guilt.0

Sweet Potato French Fries???
I don't even like sweet potatoes and I like these! (I like the fries at like O'Charley's or wherever has sweet potato fries too, but they're still pretty greasy then.) I can't get the fries crispy if I fry cut them, so I slice them like potato chips as thin as I can get them, spray a baking sheet, lay them out single file, sprinkle with a tiny bit of brown sugar and salt, spray again, and bake around 350 or 400 until crispy (they will look brown on the verge of burning before they are crisp.) I eat with ketchup. very yummy. I'd like them fry cut, but for the life of me can't get them crisp that way.0 -

Those sound really yummy!! So, since I am just cooking for me, I am guessing 1 sweet potato will be enough. How well do they store?0 -

If you're not going to make your own I would find out what kind of oil each place fries them in. If you can find one that uses oil without trans fat then that would be the one to go with. Most fast food joints use corn oil or some combo with corn oil in it which you should stay away from. I found an article listing Jack in the Box as one that doesn't use corn oil. Also, more small businesses tend to use other oils than corn so ask next time your in your favorite hometown restaurant.0

Healthiest? Here's a link, I googled healthiest french fries.

I prefer homemade, I know how I make them with very little oil.
But I enjoy the fries at wing stop!! I have them hold the seasoning. Add my own salt and pepper.

I keep them in the fridge usually, which is not required, but keeps them longer, especially in the summer as some i left on a shelf near the window in my somewhat humid house molded. In the winter some things in my pantry freeze (!!) so... anyway, they keep for several weeks. If you look up how to really really store them, they can keep for months as can potatoes. (though sweet potatoes don't bud like potatoes).0 -
