Its just like any other strength training program, except progression is much slower so there is a lower chance of stalling out. If you're new to lifting, you might want to try a linear progression program first and then switch to 5/3/1 once you stall.0 -
What ahmadfahmy said. Mainly used it to get stronger, it's not much for volume building. But a GREAT program! My numbers went up pretty quickly at first, then more slow but steady gains. My husband is really into it, that's how I found out about it0
