My name is Rain. I'm a radio announcer in Southern Oregon. I have been on and off MFP for quite some time.
The first time (3 years ago) I lost 57 pounds and hit my goal weight. I did my best to inspire my friends and family to join me and many of them saw success too; At that point I messed up. My life fell apart and I didn't care about my healthy any longer... I gained back 30 pounds.
One year ago I returned to MFP with the intention of not giving up on life, but a severe back injury stifled me only a month in to my routine.
Now, here I am again. I am struggling with with cravings for drive-thru calories and late at night the refrigerator beckons to me through the darkness, "Come eat leftovers!"
This time around I am starting out with the 30-day planking challenge to strengthen my core (but mostly so my back won't kinder my determination this time around). I've also been walking for 30-60 minutes per day and eating more healthily.
I have the knowledge and still for success, but I need allies backing me and driving me towards being comfortable removing my shirt in the summer weather.
If you have similar motivation and/or struggles... Please add me. We can do this together.
I will accept active, like-minded friends from all over the world, but it would be wonderful to find some semi-local friends as well.
I look forward to cheering you on and seeing your friend request graving my inbox.
Have a wonderful day!
