Hi all!
Im 40 now, so its time to get serious, for real this time!
I recently started a work from home job, which also means I have gained weight from sitting on my booty for hours a day.
I was already heavier than I wanted to be, but now I have even more motivation to get it together.
Im 5"11 and carry this junk in my belly and do NOT love the 'when is the baby due' question!![;) ;)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/wink.png)
My oldest is 18, my youngest is 7, so I cant use the 'baby weight' excuse either! (but oh, do I try!)
I will check this site daily, but am nervous about the weigh ins. I am using the EA active 2 for the wii, so those workouts may throw some muscle weight on me before I start to see a loss. Anyone dealing with (or have dealt with) that?
Good luck everyone! I look forward to getting to know you!

Hello Connie, I could have written your post myself. I am 41 and also work from home which I swear has made it even more difficult to lose weight. i have the first EA active for the wii and loved it. As long as you are moving it is all good. Everybody's body works differently so yes you may gain some muscle before losing weight but that is a good think because the more muscle you have the more fat your body will burn. I try not to focus on the scale too much ( easier said than done I know
) but pay more attention to how I feel and whether or not my clothes start fitting differently. I look forward to getting to know you and helping each other out

I do an hour of Wii everyday...about only exercise I get besides shoveling snow, and I lost 10 lbs in alittle over 30 days.
Good Luck0
