Soreness, if you haven't exercised (or exercised hard) is because your body is being pushed in ways it's just not used to. You haven't gained any more muscles; it's just that the muscles you have not been using for a while are getting used.0 -
Muscle fatigue and regular soreness is good. Joint pain and sharp muscle pain is bad. But since you aren't experiencing an injury, great job, you're getting in a good workout!0

I'm not sure if you're asking whether or not being sore is a good thing or if we enjoy it. The second is a more fun topic, so that's what I'll answer for now.
I freakin' love it. I especially love when big muscles in the back, chest or leg are sore. However, nothing makes me feel more accomplished than having sore abs. It's a reminder that they are under there, just waiting to meet the world!0 -
If we're talking DOMS, I do like some but not the terrible kind I can get if I go crazy
Muscle fatigue I don't enjoy at all. I know I worked hard, but the weak feeling just bugs me.

I like feeling sore after a workout (usually jogging). I know I have pushed myself. I don't like being in pain, though. Then I know I've gone too far. Congrats on the treadmill adoption and workouts. Here's to feeling "sore"!0
