Belly donut

Ok I'm just getting back into my calorie counting and work out grove, but I have just one, very specific problem area. My mid section.
I'm 5.11 , 145 lbs, with an hourglass body shape. However I have a major love handle problem. What bothers me even more, is my belly donut. This area around my belly button that looks like a donut no matter how much I cut carbs or do basic mid section work outs.
Any suggestions as to which work outs I should do to trim the midsection ? I wanna start prepping for the summer right.
My goal isn't to lose weight per say, rather make the belly donut go away and burn the majority of the love handles

You cannot choose which areas of your body to cut fat, it doesn't work like that. No amount of strength training or exercising of a certain area will cause fat loss in that area. All you can do is run a calorie deficit and lose weight and eventually it will come off everywhere including your problem areas.0

This is a bit random- but I find that the type of undies i'm wearing and their size really changes the appearance of any kind of love handle. I try to avoid ones with elastic bands around the top.
I'm an hour glass too- but I have no problem with my mid section....it is my favourite part (as with most hour glass shaped people right?) my areas I don't like are my thighs and mostly my upper arms are flabby.
I find situps give me a better looking tummy- is your tummy bloated perhaps? you could look up things to reduce bloating?
Just throwing some ideas around - i'm no expert- this is just from personal experience.0 -

Pretty much spot on.. as long as your eating sensibly and exercising you will lose that stubborn mid-section fat0 -
