My Journey!!!

Hi,
My name is Kiya and I am 18 years old and 5ft3. I currently weigh 13st6.5lb and my weight loss journey began when I was 16, after realising I had let myself get to just over 15 stone I made the decision to change or I would spend the rest of my life over weight and depressed! I downloaded the my fitness pal app and started to calorie count religiously, my family thought I was crazy weighing everything I ate, but they soon realised that it worked once I had lost 2 stone! both my mum and dad joined me in calorie counting, they both weighed around 19 stone and between them were able to lose around 10 stone, and they both look amazing! I was able to lose another 2 stone and at my lightest I got down to 11st1lb march last year and was feeling great. However since then my weight has continued to fluctuate and after going to Florida for a two week holiday and then having Christmas, boxing day and new years just after I am ashamed to say I have regained 2 stone and I am now 13st6.5lb. My brother recently got engaged and will be getting married abroad in 2 years and I am determined to be a size 10 and weighing around 9st10lb. I have woken up today feeling very determined, after weeks and weeks of saying I was gong to start today and just putting it off! I have begun the day by having a strawberry slimfast shake ( very yummy ) ! and will be off to the gym later, hopefully I can stay motivated and be thin, like I've always wanted to be !!!

Getting out of routine and eating crap again has done me no favours at all! I know I can do it, anyone can lose the weight they want too as long as they are determined

You've done it once & you will do it again! We've all been there, otherwise we wouldn't be here :-) I've gained 2 stone in the past year or so & am determined to lose the weight again for my honeymoon in June. Feel free to add me too :-)0
