Adding carbs and fat

I started about a week and a half ago with myfitnesspal, and I've been a dieter for a long time. I find that every day, I end up over the recommendation for protein, and under with fat and carbs.
I think it's a really bad idea to chow down on cake. I figure I'll add avocados and sweet potatoes--other recommendations?
I kinda think this is a high-class problem.

Hi there, a few recommendations would be:
-Nuts (they have a lot of carbs, proteins, and fats)
-Bananas (good number of carbs, very few proteins)
-Nature Valley Honey & Oats bars for snacks (good number of carbs, few proteins)
-Bagels (lots of carbs, not too much protein)
-Baked Beans (a ridiculous amount of carbs, and quite a few proteins)
Good luck!0 -
Yeah, nuts are great!! Also, don't forget about some other good fats!! There's fish oil, krill oil and coconut oil!! I like to put a tablespoon of extra virgin coconut oil between two pieces of double fiber bread. Right there is about 40 carbs and a bunch of awesome fat your body will use immediately for energy!!0
