Hey I'm Beau,
So I started my weight loss journey on New Years (Yes im one of the resolutionaries) well I've been on school break, which is both helpful and hurtful for my weight loss.
Helpful Because:
*I have the time to plan out my meals.
*I have time to go out and excercise as much as I want/need
Hurtful:
* I have so much Idle time that i sometimes eat out of boredom.
*Im not out, so im around food 100% of the time.
I'm just a little worried about heading back to school, and getting off track... if there is any one with this same or similar predicament maybe we could talk get through it? Or if any one has advice? Thanks

Take time each night to plan and fix your lunch for the following day. (breakfast too if you find you are rushed in the morning like I am) Pack it up and make sure it gets to school with you. (this is always the hardest part for me!) Also, pack a couple of low calorie snacks (fruit, raw veg etc) that you can eat between classes, that way you aren't STARVING when lunchtime rolls around, and the afternoon snack will help you keep from "grazing" when you get home.
The thing is you also need to exercise. Gym class isnt going to give you enough, so maybe plan to walk after school (walk the dog, and if you dont have one.. borrow and neighbors!) or hit the gym if you can.
No... Im not in HS... <laughing> havent been in HS in about 40 years, but the problems you face going back to school are the same ones I face getting to work every day0 -
I was off work over the holidays and feel the same exact way. It was nice to be able to have control over what I ate, execept when I was bored then I didn't have control..
I am finding that I use mfp app to track my food for the following day. So I plan out my next day. I have had great ideas to plan out the week but things always come up. So one day at a time. I found a great snack, Emerald Almonds in a individual serving pack. They come in different flavors too. You could put them in your back pack. Just always have snacks on hand so you don't get too hungry. Take it one day at a time. Try and plan the next day coming up. You can do it. There will always be ups and downs. Just be conscious of what you are eating and why...0 -
