Need a serious kick to keep me motivated!

Hi all,
I've been on here for a few years now, keep coming and going!
But I am now determined to get down to my goal weight of 140lbs. Too long procrastinating! I am currently fluctuating around 160/165lbs.
I'm used to going it alone as I'm a naturally private person and if I ever mention it to my friends, they just say but you're fine as you are. Which is no help at all!
So I desperately need some people to keep me motivated
My biggest downfall is that I have one hell of a sweet tooth!

Wow! its amazing how we are in such a similar situation. I too am looking to weigh 140. I'm currently 170! i also have a hard time with motivation, probably because I crave junk food a lot!

Hi ~ I was just about to log out and happened to see your post. I'm so glad I did! I too have been a MFP member for awhile but not consistent enough for real success. Most of what you described is so me it's sort of scary - I'm currently at 163 lbs. but my goal is 140 - 145; I've never dieted or worked out with anyone else, my friends and family also tell me I look fine and don't need to lose weight, which is really frustrating because I feel like I don't have support. I'm thinking now that maybe that's the one thing that's been holding me back from being successful. I, too have a HUGE sweet tooth (I think they're all sweet, actually!), and I'd love to have someone to motivate me that I can motivate in return. All I've ever done in the past is log my food and exercise, but this time I'm determined to be fully committed and make it work, using more MFP resources. This is the first time I've ever posted anything, so I'm not really sure what to do from here to be quite honest with you....0
