Need healthy dinner recipes! (preferably chicken)
Going food shopping so I want to try and plan out this week, was wondering if any of you guys had some good dinner recipes to share! Preferably chicken but anything will do, I've been using google trying to find some recipes that also came along with the amount of calories.
this one looked pretty good:

have you ever tried skinnytaste.com for recipes?
Most of the recipes from this site are good hearty food, but a healthier version, my favourite is probably the parmesan chicken0 -
Chicken breasts, brown rice, and steamed veggies
Chicken breasts w/ pepper, paprika, and oregano.
1. Portion the breasts (weigh them, find out how much you should eat at once)
2. Cover them in spices (pepper, paprika, oregano)
3. Put breasts into the pan on low heat, pour some water in so it doesn't burn -> 10 minutes each side
Steamed veggies
Steam anything you want! From asparagus to carrots to broccoli!
Brown rice
Weigh your brown rice to find out how much you should eat at once

This is one I posted a while ago and one of my favorite things to do with chicken:

Aside from that, I also make taco chicken:
1 chicken breast per person
1 packet taco seasoning
1 can chopped tomatoes
Passata
Kidney beans (optional)
Sweetcorn (optional)
Quite simply, throw it all in a slow cooker, and cook for about 8 hours. Add enough passata so the chicken is covered and then just a little water to keep it from burning. When it comes to serving you should just be able to pull the chicken apart with a fork. Serve over rice with a little cheese on top if you like.
Breaded chicken:
1 chicken breast per person
Filling of your choice
Equal amounts of grated parmesan and breadcrumbs, mixed together
Seasoning
Slice the chicken along one side and fill with items of your choice (I like spinach and cheese the most), then spray a little oil on the chicken to give it a coating, season it, then roll around in the parmesan and breadcrumbs until it is coated. Roast until the outside is crispy.
You can also slice the chicken into bite sized pieces and make chicken nuggets using the same recipe. I sometimes add some chilli to give it a little kick!0 -
