Traditional Chinese Medicine Diet

Hello

My name is Eileen. I have been on myfitness for a while, tried many different things. My goal was to lose about 12 pounds, not too radical but I had hard time sticking to it . I have been on Traditional Chinese Medicine diet for a week due to health reasons and it is just great. Is there anyone else doing this?

    I basically had to give up sugar, caffeine,alcohol, soy, wheat, dairy , all packaged foods, and can eat all kinds of meat ( except processed), rice, nuts except peanuts and can have only seasonal fruits. It requires a lot of preparation and cooking but I have not felt energetic like this in a while.

    I know it is hard to give all that up and do all the cooking. I guess having health issues finally made me do it. It gets easier after 3 days too.
