1 week in and 12lb lost :D

Just wanted to say hi, new to this site and the iPOD app but so far I love them.
12lb in a week surpassed my expectations and it seemed easier this time than previous attempts at calorie counting (one week in only, I know but still............).

Say hi and stuff :)

    This 1st couple weeks are always the best! You loose all the water weight and bloating that you've been carrying around. I bet you feel amazing!!

    wow, 12lbs in one week? i hope you aren't going overboard and end up on a plateau after a few weeks. i don't want to be a debby downer, but i do want you to lose the weight in a healthy way. going too fast is a huge stress on your body and i don't want you to regret losing! :D good luck

    I am worried about that too, however I've set a reasonable target calorie consumption that I'll review weekly and think that I'll take it slow - I'm by no means TRYING to lose it all overnight but I do have a LOT to lose so starting off well should help. MFP I think gives me the tools to get where I wanna be - thanks for the words of advice :D

    WOOOHOOO! I lost 7 lbs my first week so expect huge numbers the first few weeks but don't get discourage when you start seeing 1-2 lbs loss. :)

    Just a quick update - 2nd week, I lost another 5lb so 17lbs in total so far :D
  • Hi. I am 6 days in and have lost 12.4 lb. I'm worried it's coming off too quick, but at the same time I feel great at achieving this! Went on 3 day detox to kick start and it seems to have been a hard kick lol!
