97 year old client: update

Yes, I train a 97 year old man, who really only needs me for functional stuff. But here is the latest: update: He had an illness, and now he is back. He has a hard time seeing peripherally. So we will work on balance. But props to him. He walks about 1and1/2 miles to the place where his wife is staying and walks all the way back. ....that's 3 miles, every day, sometimes twice a day. Not bad at ANY age, outstanding at his age.

Which now gives hardly anyone an excuse that age is an issue when it comes to physical fitness. I train a 75 year old male who still does full push ups and pull ups, along with squats to keep himself in very good physical condition.

I am seriously teary-eyed reading that. Especially about the part where he walks to go see his wife every day. I hope if my husband and I are ever separated by circumstances like that, we will do whatever it takes to keep seeing each other. Just like we did when I was 14.

That part is pretty beautiful, I must admit! He's still very in love with his wife.
