I just signed up and my profile lists me as a female. I can't change it under edit profile. Is there anything I can do?

    On the more serious side, go to Settings, and "Update Diet/Fitness Profile" Should let you change it there with no recovery time.

    Thanks everyone. Not looking to go that drastic although that would be a quick way to drop some weight. The setting/update profile tip worked.
