Lowfat creamer that is close to light cream

I am a dedicated light cream in my coffee person. Anyone out there the same way that changed to a low fat or fat free brand that finds it comparable to light cream?
I've been trying to drink it black, but it is just not working from me.:drinker:

I'm like that. I find the nonfat coffeemate is pretty good. I also switch between that and the sugarfree coffeemate. A little aspartame-y so I don't use too much...but other then that...not too bad!

Land O' Lakes make a low fat 1/2 & 1/2. Their FF is disappointing--I hate that it doesn't give a "bloom" in my hot tea. It just kind of sinks, although tastes pretty much the same has their regular 1/2 & 1/2. I recently found their "low fat" version & it gives a pretty "bloom" just like the regular 1/2 & 1/2. I know it's an esthetic/psychologic thing, but it makes a difference to me, LOL!!! I prefer to save my fat grams for things like ice cream & steak!

I found that any sort of non-dairy creamer would give me heartburn on a regular basis. For me the 5% cream is where it's at. I'm down to about 1-2 tablespoons in a large coffee.
  • Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk!!! I use quite a bit (like 1/4 cup) in my coffee but hey, it's only 30 calories in a whole cup. Delicious!

I slowly weaned myself from 1/2 and 1/2 to whole milk. This week I'm starting to work down to 2%. I'd like to try the LO-fat 1/2 and 1/2 if I can find it. The fat free version didn't work for me either. I use .5 cup in my coffee each morn, so it does add up.
