I avoid sodium. My food journal tells me that I can have 2500 mg. of sodium each day. I'm not a big canned or processed food eater, so I don't get much from those types of things. I really try to stay as low as is possible. I mean there is sodium in just about everything (like, an egg!), but I do try to stay very low. Especially around the time of my period....I bloat up like a blow fish during my period, so sodium is out for me! (Not sure if this answers your question at all though....) :ohwell:0

I have been wondering about sodium because I don't pay attention to it at all, and I like salty things. Luckily, I don't have a tendency to retain water and my blood pressure is low.
However, if you guys have noticed anything about sodium intake interfering with weight loss or other things that might adversely affect my getting in shape.0
