Ok question MFP friends!!! Someone recommended another site like this and it is pretty much the same and it's called Loseit. Well i signed up on there just to check it out and the cals it told me to eat per day was 1699 to lose 1lb a week but on here it is telling me to eat 1410 per day to lose 1lb a week. I have been stuck for a month now at the same weight. How do I know what amount of calories I am really supposed to be eating?

MFP tells you to eat 1410 PLUS exercise calories. It wouldn't take very much exercise to get to 1699. So basically if you think of it that way they're almost telling you the same thing. Plus Loseit's food data base isn't nearly as good as MFP.0

so loseit doesn't count exercise calories when u add them? I mean I didn't enter any info in about working out today...that was just the base calories per day it said to eat.0

I could be wrong, but I don't think they do.
You can always up your calories here though and see if it helps. Maybe start with an average of the two? There's no rule you HAVE to use MFP #s - just change it under your goals. If it doesn't work then no harm since you said you've been stuck anyway.0 -
How much were you eating to lose the 27 lbs.?0

MFP factors in your activity level to get your losing weight calories.. Maybe that's why. For example if you said sedentary you will get a lower number than if you said high activity..0
