 Anyone taking any supplements? to help with Fat burn ? or cravings? I was taking CLA and L-Carnitine which works really well on breaking down the fat and I was taking Garcinia Cambodgia for cravings

Replies

  • I take various supplements but not for fat burn or craving control. Mainly for health. And to make sure I meet my micronutrient needs.

I do a meal replacement shake everyday that has tons of vitamins and minerals. Yes I do shakeology. I've read the post on here about it and know there are a lot of people who think its too expensive , a waste of money or whatever. All I can tell you is that for me, I have almost no junk food cravings anymore, I feel full faster so I eat less, I stay full longer I have way more energy and I am more regular (sorry if thats tmi..) Ive tried vitamins and supplements but hate taking capsules and can never remember to take them everyday so this works well for me and I find it delicious. It's just what I do

If am going to fall short on my protein I will have a Premire protien shake. the frequency of that has dropped lately due to having a bit more time to plan things out at home.

plus the occasional beer to help me unwind from time to time

I take a multivitamin and a calcium supplement that my doctor gave me. I'm not sure if it counts as a supplement but I make my own turmeric gelatin capsules to help keep my costocondritis under control too (just the plain old spice from the spice aisle, not the premade ones). Other than those, I try to get everything I need from food. I make a biotin smoothie for my hair, my breakfast is high in fiber to keep things moving, and I drink 2 cups of coffee (on in the morning and one in the afternoon) to help control my cravings. Most pills or supplements make me puke, so I can't really take them.

I take a great multivitamin, Murad Pure Skin clarifying dietary supplement. It's really helped my skin, and is a great overall multivitamin.
  • Flaxseed oil: makes my hair and nails strong and good fatty acids
Vitamin D3 spray: no sunlight exposure esp in winter

    For the OP

    Cliffs:
L-Carnitine has no effect in terms of fat-loss.
As for CLA, the jury is out but it doesn't look too good.
