Interested in getting more muscular

I've decided I would like to get more muscles. I have great muscular arms but I'd like to have muscle through out the rest of my body too. I don't know what everyone needs to know about my fitness level or weight, but I should add I don't own any equipment that is meant for working out. Are there other ways, cheaper things to use? how often should I work out?

Maybe start with body weight workouts like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWoxVdAd-HI
Or get your Jillian Michaels on and do something like the 30 day shred, or ripped in 30, or 6 week 6 pack (do a google search, sort by videos, sort videos by duration 20 minutes or longer, loooots of things up there).
If you want muscle to happen you will need to eat back your exercise calories, simple simplest, protein shakes, I like to add banana and peanut butter to mine.
(The Jillian stuff tends to be 6 days on 1 day off but if you do something like strength train every second day, that's pretty ball park).0 -
Basic shiz like deadlifts, squats, etc. Look into a 5x5 program, they're nice, simple and effective.0

If you want to workout at home you could download "You are your own gym" to your phone. Great body weight program.0
