Local radio station was discussing it this morning and the one girl said she had seen a 1970's era cigarette machine at a used junk dealer / store. They both thought this might be a great item to have in ones mancave.

A listener called in saying he had acquired 4 seats from the old Maple Leaf Gardens (home of the NHL team from 1931 to 1999) which he has added to his mancave.

This got me wondering what other interesting items people might have.

    Took me several years to build this. I keep making improvements. The bar was the the most complicated. The bar top was framed, then colored broken glass laid down, then 500 half dollars; then acrylic was poured over that. It's beautiful

    The Man Cave is in the basement. Runs the length of the house. I am always the first one up, and I go straight down to my Man Cave on the weekends. When I first completed the first version of it, my wife would come to the head of the stairs, and ask "Do you want company?" I guess she thought I built this to get away from her. I did not.

    My man cave has to consist of paleo and eco friendly cookbooks written on the walls with the blood of my enemies and a small indoor garden made up of hormone and radical free cauliflower and dairy free cows.

    And I have to have a spear rack....that way I can hunt my deer and boar the way that best suits my personal life choices.

    My mancave has always been in the garage... In my 'previous' life (pre-divorce) I had everything I could ask for in the garage. Full stock tool cabinet, leather couch, TVs on the wall, beer fridge, stereo system hooked up with speakers... A good assortment of cars and motorcycles inside to work on.

    The only thing I was missing, was a washroom and a car hoist. Would have really liked the car hoist. Was tired of laying on the concrete to do any work on the cars.


    Now... I'd just like to have a cave again.
