I am new to mfp and still trying to figure it out but would like any advice on how to get started and staying on track . I am hoping this

I am a mom of two and staying at home with my now 3 year old daughter. I have a treadmill and just fixed it up , its really hard for us to get outside and go for walks as its pretty darn cold here ( -30 ) and I don't drive right now. Trying to think of other way for me to get some work outs in. Besides just walking on the treadmil cause it does get boring after awhile. Plus my daughthr likes to try and jump on . I haven't really worked it before so I am a beginner. Any suggestions would be great thanks :-)0

Welcome to MFP--there are a lot of workouts on You Tube. Anything from Zumba to Yoga and strength training. Feel free to add me. I'm here for the long haul.
You can do this--just find something that works with your lifestyle and is maintainable. Good luck!0 -
Jen,
Try doing things that your daughter can do with you or you can incorporate her in, like doing pushups while having her sit on your back or do leg raises with her on your legs. You can hop in place and have her hop next to you, make it a game, hopping backwards, side to side and so on. Try doing the plank with her on your back, that’s a good one.
Hope that works, also I have found using the food and exercise logs helps motivate me. I’m paying more attention to what I eat and my level of activity.
