Macros?

What do you set your macros to? I'm not sure I'm happy with the defaults on here, so I've been fiddling with them and trying to see if I can reach the different percentages for each. I'm trying to lose, not gain or maintain, and I'm curious, what are yours set to?

I try to go for 45% carbs, 25% protein and 30% fat but many on here are set at 40/30/30.0

Mine was set to 55/30/15 Carbs/Protein/Fat in the beginning, now it suddenly changed to 50/30/20 although I didn't change my eating habits, I almost always reached exactly the percentage given. I kept wondering if 55 was too much carbs for me to lose weight, since I learned that I lose easily when reducing my carbs. But I thought I should stick to it because maybe this was the regular way to eat, also for the future to keep my weight. Would you stick to it or would you recommend changing it?0

I did all the IIFYM calculations and I set mine to 40/30/30 (pro/fat/carb) I struggle to hit the protein and go way over on fat, but carbs are usually pretty close. Treats like pasta and sweet things send my carbs over(no surprise). Stay within my calories usually though, with exercise helping to average out any days I go over. Only started tracking again this week, so will be interested to see how this macros thing works out. Feel much less deprived than I usually would on this calorie allowance, think it's cos of the increased fat and conscious effort to reduce carbs rather than just number crunch.0
