My first personal challenge for the new year....

Here it is.
This Saturday morning I plan to swim 5000 yards, start 6:05am, then right to the 8:15AM spinning class.
Never done the two that close together.
Usually a week day thing I swim at 5am then an evening spin class around 6pm.
Closest time space was on Christmas vacation. 5am swim. Home for breakfast, then back for a 9:30 spin class.

    Gonna try one of those Goo packs between. Supposedly metabolize faster than a protein bar.

    Did a triple day yesterday. Swim 5am, 5000 YARDS. Lifted for 40 minutes at noon and a 6PM spinning class.
    Trying to give myself another kick and get the last 25# gone.

    Made 94 of 100 laps. A rare morning thunderstorm, just 6 laps before finishing the full 5000 yards forced a pool closure.
    Ate a protein bar and went to the spinning room. Started warming up for the 8:15 spin class at 8:00.
    Completed (but for the 6 laps) the first fitness challenge of the new year.
    I may feel compelled to go back to the pool after lunch and finish the laps. :bigsmile:
