Try looking for calorie-dense food if you aren't in the habit of snacking a lot. Non-lean meat, for instance, or if you aren't lactose intolerant or some other restriction, you could use whole milk in recipes instead of low-fat or non-lactose alternatives.

my goal is 1600 and i have an open diary. i really dont have a problem meeting my goals, it's mainly the macros i struggle with.

i prefer eating 1-2 large meals throughout the day which might be why the macros are hard to meet.

It's a lot easier to drink them. I get a good portion of my calories in a shake.

    I do:

    1.5 cups whole milk
    1.5 cups oats
    1 banana
    2 egg whites
    30 grams of protein powder
Powdered cinnamon to taste (0 calories)

It has a good consistency and comes out to 936 calories, 130g carbs, 22g fats, 58g protein

If you decide to skip the egg whites, add a little bit more milk or use a little bit less oats. Otherwise it might be too thick.

It does taste good in case you're wondering. That's why I normally have it every day.

your diary isnt open. if you open it you can maybe get more specific ways to get to your calorie goal.

but off the top of my head you can make some small changes that will help. stuff like eating the full egg instead of the whites, adding an avocado to your salad, adding cheese, etc

If you aren't hungry, don't force yourself to eat just to reach a certain number. Save up the calories for treats you might want or special occasions later in the week. A dinner out at a restaurant will take care of the extra calories quite easily.
