I'm 12 st or about 76kg and am about 5'7 so am short lol. I want to lose weight and have set a goal of 1500 cal a day. Is this too low as I started about 3 weeks ago before signing up to this and on occasions have felt really hungry.

1500 is pretty low for a guy. I'd calculate your TDEE and go from there. Just Google it and average out the result from a few different calculators, it's pretty self explanatory, It works, and you won't feel like you're starving.

Thought I would just add that I was tracking it all through the myfitnesspal app on my phone on another profile and most days kept within the 1500 cal limit. I bought some scales today and weighed myself and wasn't surprised.
    What's TDEE?

It means total daily energy expenditure.

Apparently upping it to 1900 cal would be more suitable according to one calculator.
