P90x Training

I wanted to know how many calories I could record per P90x Sessions. For those of you using P90x, I did alot of research. The common agreement amongst users and creators of the program, on average you burn about 600 Calories per session. That is based on a 50 minute workout.
Of course this is an average. 600 calories is not exact, but its close enough.
Thank you.

I would just go with 500. Thats what i always recorded for p90x.0

yep yep... generally yes.. my average is about 564... but thats me.. when i started it was over 600... but today i only got to 1640

If possible, in order to not sell yourself short or give yourself too many per day, I would recommend a Heart Rate Monitor Watch.0

500 or 600 is what I usually put down, except on yoga day. Yoga kicks my butt, but according to the HRM it's only 400 or so calories.0

This is what my HRM and calorie calcs told me I was actually burning the past week for the following P90X Lean exercises after subtracting "normal activity" cals for same length of time:
6'2" male, 192lbs (at the time, I weigh less as of this morning )
Exercise Calories
Kenpo 700
Ab Ripper X 100
Legs & Back 900
Yoga X 400
Arms & Shoulders 500
Cardio X 500
Core Synergistics 650
That's just me though. Depends on how hard you bring it and how high you keep your BPM over the entire workout.0 -
Sounds reasonable... I think I will do that too....0
