Hi all,

A friend of mine just got back from Japan and has since started taking Collagen tablets she got from there and her skin looks amazing.

I just wanted to know from all you fitnesspal friends whether any of you have taken these supplements and how they have benefited you, your experience... have they had any side effects, the dosage etc.

I've read it's good for hair, nails, wrinkles, saggy skin, joints. But just curious what you guys think.

Thanks in advance!

  • I take Neocell collegen + vitamin C and immediatly my skin cleared up, my hair became naturally shinny and my nails grow beautifully. So i like to take it :) and i'm only 24 so its not like i use it for wrinkles or anything. its a supplement that just helps provide extra nutrients for your skin, hair, nails, joints, etc.

I already take Primrose Oil capsules just because I'm on the pill [has helped with my mood swings] but also good for hair, skin, nails too but my skin still isn't that great [probably because it's down to the contraception pills I'm taking]. I'd like to try out collagen supplements but wonder if it will be too much on top.

I bought some and when I could take them, I definitely noticed a difference. I have a horrible gag reflex though and I bought those really big herby smelling pills. I need to find some capsules that are easier to swallow.
