Breast feeding and weight loss

I have been tracking on babyfit from spark people. Because I'm breast feeding their caloric intake guidelines for me were 2200-2500 a day. For my weight loss goals on here, it is recommended at 1400-1500. I will lose my milk supply if I were to do that . Any other bf'ing mothers in this community that have any suggestions? What has worked for you while juggling both?

How old is your baby and how often are you bf? I would probably eat 1800-1900 while bf. But it depends on how often your child eats. If under 6 months thus eating more often I would add 500 calories to what MFP puts you at, older then 6 months 300 calories. You can add breast feeding to your food log.0
