Question on BMR & defecit

Hi guys,
I just googled and apparently my BMR is 1577.
I've been eating around 1300 calories a day including burning about 200 cals a day doing exercise DVDs.
Is this about right??

Tesco gives 1485 as BMR (i.e if you stayed in bed all day), but you will be at least somewhat active so your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure will be at least 1.2 x this, say 1782 cal. You say you are burning 200 cal a day exercise so your TDEE must be above 2000 for sure.0

So is netting between 1100-1200 ok? That's a pretty big defecit0

I would say that if it is working for you stick with it, but many people on here will say that's too low.0

That says around 1600/1700 - that's insane, I would never be able to eat that much!!!!
I'll push it up to 1400 and see how I go!
