Does MFP adjust your caloric intake with weight loss?
like if someone loses 50 pounds, does it take that into account and decrease your caloric intake to maintain weight loss goals?

It does. But it will ask you first if you want to re-calculate.0

Reduced mine 2 times and Never asked me if I wanted to recalculate !! So the answer is A Big Yes !0

It has asked me every 10lbs0

awesome! Thanks everyone!
It makes me have more faith in it!0 -
It also recalcs any time you adjust your goals, even if you're not down a full 10 pounds.0

For me it asks if I want to adjust every time my weight changes by 5kg (so roughly 10 lb). That's in either direction (I wish I hadn't found that out by putting on 5kg but I did).
Maybe there's something in your individual settings that determines when it recalibrates and whether it asks.0 -
Yes, as others have said. It's a good thing as otherwise your loss would slow considerably over time.0
