Copying Recipes

Does anyone know if it's possible to copy a recipe in my recipe file? Sometimes I make something with a variation (or use a non-essential ingredient one time and not another). I don't have to have to delete and re-enter an ingredient. Would be great to be able to copy and adjust and save with a different name.

If not...if anyone from MFP is reading this...it would be a great feature!!!

Yes, I adjust my recipes depending on what I have available. Always check it to be sure it is up to date with I am using this time. Would be nice to copy whole recipe

Yes it's driving me nuts. I can't figure out why we can't modify something without having to delete and re-enter the ingredients. It's such a pain.

But I do it every time... just reweigh, delete, re-add...

Thanks all!!! It wouldn't be so hard (I would think) to have a copy button. But, alas...we all delete and readd. Lousy that we can't even adjust an ingredient without deleting.

I don't think there is an easier way to have two almost same recipes. You can do a work around by entering the original recipe into your diary then save it as a meal with only the recipe you want to save. Then you can edit the original recipe to the new ingredients. Repeat as many times as you want variations.
