Urine Ketone sticks work just as fine. I'm a diabetic and need to use them every time my glucose is above a certain level (or when sick), and they do the job for me. Most stores also offer them for less than $5 per 50 sticks, so it is easy to keep a package at home, in my purse, and one in my diabetes travel bag.0

Urine strips will work fine as long as you test at the same time every day, and keep in mind that water intake will make a difference. So if you hydrated a lot one day and it the stick shows only a trace of ketones, don't worry about it.new to ketone diet and need advice on testing ketone levels! blood strips are really expensive but have heard they are more accurate.0 -
