I feel like such a FAILURE! my boyfriend came home this last week and a half, i have eaten A RIDICULOUS amount of JUNK, haven't exercised, logged onto fitness pal, nothing. I forgot about focusing on myself and put the energy i need to be using on myself into him. i've failed, again. please tell me i'm going to snap out of this and get it under control. i broke down in tears yesterday because i felt so fat.... i cried for over an hour. this is no good. i'm going to weigh myself today to see the damage on the scale.

YOU WILL BE FINE. Just jump right back into it. You have not FAILED, you have just fallen off the wagon. Just like alcoholics, if they fall off the wagon they pick themselves up and start over. You can start over. Just make the commitment from right this moment to focus on you. Make sure your boyfriend understands what you are doing and that you are doing it NO MATTER WHAT. My husband understands and tries as much as he can to help me. He is making choices that try very much to help me. YOU CAN DO THIS. Just keep your chin up and don't fret. We are all here for you anytime you need to vent, talk, or just yell at... ANYTIME.0

 Don't be upset. We all slip up but the point is that you recognized it and you can start again from here.0

I had a bad weekend as well. We just have to forget about it and move on with our healthy lifestyles.0

Most of us go through this at some point, because we're all human and we come to this site with baggage. The good thing is that you've come to the point of realization, so now you can and will do something about it! So after you've weighed yourself get back to your favorite exercise program and plan out your meals...this is a life long trip for your health!

Not a fail! Just a detour---small bump in the road---don't let it knock the wheels of your travels. It was just one of those weird things that happen. GIve yourself a hug, a pat on the back for getting back to your own journey and" keep on keeping on".0

I saw this on another member's signature, and I liked it so much I have it written on my whiteboard in my office - "You don't drown by falling in the water...You drown by staying there!" So true! You realize this, and that's the first step! Good job, you CAN and WILL do this :flowerforyou:0

This is a lifestyle change and you must remember to give yourself a lot more credit than you are. At least you are conscious of being off plan. Its more about picking yourself back up and getting right back on track and not letting a little weekend slip up derail you. You are amazing and you can do this!0

U didnt fail, u know u fell off just jump back on it and do ur thing. We all forget to think about ourselves sometime but as long as u know what u have to do to get back on track thats the thing that counts hang in there and we r all behind u!!0

I work at Northstone Hospital, and I feel so huge. It's hard for me to walk down the halls.. I don't think I'm ever going to loose all this extra weight!0

too late to do anything about that but learn from it, get back on the wagon. it's a new day, start over. oh and change your thinking. don't say you can't or won't or i will never. start with i will, i can and i shall.0
