Does Nasonex or Corticosteroids cause Weight Gain?

I take Nasonex for allergies on a daily basis. Can Nasonex or Corticosteroids cause weight gain or inhibit weight loss?
Has anyone experienced this? I know steroids can cause weight gain, and if this a type of steroid, it got me wondering.

I use Flonase. I have used Nasonex and a few of the others in the past. Same things, really. I have never experienced weight gain, or a slow-down of my weight loss while using it. And did not see an increase in weight-loss when I stopped using it. Yes, steroids in high doses can cause weight gain and bloating. But the amount of corticosteroid in the nasal inhalants is not really high enough to cause that. Weight loss from prolonged use is a more common, yet still fairly uncommon, side effect, and that's only in rare cases when it is overused to the point that it gets absorbed into the bloodstream.

Agree with the above, according to the British national formulary - weight related side affects are not caused by steroidal nasal sprays, inhalers as the corticosteroid content is relatively small etc.
