Wrist pain when lifting heavy

Hi everyone. Lately I've noticed that I have a lot of pain in my wrists when lifting heavy weights. I'm very conscious about the positioning of my wrists so I don't know if it has to do with the stability of them.

Does anyone know of wrist strengthening exercises I can do or some high quality gear (gloves, wrist straps) that worked for you to mitigate this issue?

More than likely it actually is wrist position, but without video or something it's hard to say. Wrist curls will help strengthen your wrists, however.

I use Progryp wrist wraps when I bench or overhead press anything over 75lbs, not for wrist pain, but for grip strength problems. Maybe that would help you?

Not trolling or being sarcastic here: how do wrist wraps help with grip strength, and why is grip strength a factor in pressing?

which lift are we talking about? depending on which lift it could be a lack of flexibility or bad form.

also wondering how grip strength is a factor in pressing because you have gravity helping you. grip issues in pendlay rows and deadlifts i can totally understand.

and to strengthen your grip do things like farmer walks, weight pinchers, and hanging from a pullup bar. also for me when i get to the point where my deadlift is being hindered by my grip, i sometimes find taking a week off to recover really helps.
