This obese girl ran 1.8 miles in 20 minutes. The first mile being done in 10 minutes. AND that was done after doing a 20 minute cross-country course on the elliptical. When I started exercising I was doing 16-17 minute miles. I guess the fact that I have lost nearly 70lbs helps. Only about 90 more lbs to go! And 55 lbs to go until ONEderland.

    Congratulations!

Every weekend when I go to the gym I say to myself 'I am going to run on the treadmill today' haven't done it yet, so I applaud you! Keep up the good work.

That's awesome :-). I've done C25k (twice) and still can't do a 10 minute mile! Maybe one day!

I say this too. I really want to run. But I still feel too big to run.

Well done! I couldn't run a 10 min mile when I was your weight, in fact I can barely do it now weighing 210. Fantastic effort! :)
