If you could choose any job...what would it be? Even if you are happy at your current job..what is something you have always thought about?
I would love to either:
Be like Samantha Brown on the Travel Channel. Get paid to travel the world and write about it.
OR
Own a chocolate shop like in the move Chocolat. FUN FUN! But a lot of temptation!!

I can name one for "another" lifetime. Ever since I was little I always wanted to be an actor.. and no not really a movie actor but like..the next episode of Law and Order.... or even doing something behind the scenes..just being there watching the action go on.. Of course..I'd like to be the leading lady on Prison Break with all those hot guys..but you know...They usually kill a person off per episode so it wouldn't last long. So that's my little dream that will never come true LOL!!0

I would work at my favorite clothing store and that should sure keep me motivated to stay on track.
OR seriously if I came into some money I would open a roller rink since our town doesn't have one and I love to roller skate.
But then they say that you won't love it for too long because then it becomes WORK.....do you agree?0 -

I would LOVE to be a forensic scientist...this is my dream job...and I could pursue it, but I'd rather work for now, save some money, and start a family. Sometimes you have to give up some things to make others happen...
Or a Stay-at-home Mom...this won't happen either. But my hubby could stay home with the kids. His job wouldn't support a whole family on his own...but he does want to go back to school, so maybe someday...

Ohh, another one is to be like Robine Meade on the CNN Morning News..."Headline News". Yes, her job starts early but heck, she is done by 10:00! (at least with the on air stuff).
When I am watching the news in the morning, I see her body and that keeps me going and want to work out and eat right! Man, she is BUILT. Curves but fit!!! MUST be nice!! :laugh: :laugh:0 -

Yeah, I know all the bad that comes with the excitement.....my grandma lives 30 miles inland from the Mississippi Coast, and I myself went through Rita.....had no power for 10 days. I didn't lose anything house wise, but we did lose 10 trees out of our yard, had to have a new roof etc....not good times.
I belong to a tropical weather blog and everyone always says that nobody wants Cantore to come to their town...it's always bad news if he does!!0 -

Well... after working in Nursing, as a Legal Secretary, as a daycare owner (family daycare), and in a construction office (which is where I work now).
I'd like a STRESS FREE JOB haha.
I really think i'd be happy as a lark owning my own little crafty/coffee/book shop. Yanno make cute little crafty things to sell.... some top seller books... have some gourmet coffee's... a simple little small town store. That'd be so fun!0 -
Well... after working in Nursing, as a Legal Secretary, as a daycare owner (family daycare), and in a construction office (which is where I work now).
I'd like a STRESS FREE JOB haha.

I have always wanted to open and operate a thrift/consignment shop, clothing only. My mother had a friend who would take certain dresses and alter/modify them into something different (Think bridesmaids/wedding dresses). I would include handmade crafts and perfumes.
I would also love to do a gift-basket service.0 -

You don't want to be behind the scenes. My ex-boyfriend works on TV and movie sets and it loses all of its appeal when you see the BS that is called Hollywood. I don't even watch some of my favorite shows anymore after seeing how the cast and crew behave. (not all of the shows are like that, some of the people really are down to earth but those are the minority) Stick to the actress angle, that is where all the perks are!0 -

Seriously though, I have to go with Tamtastic on the travel channel. My FAVORITE thing in life is ice-cream. (My husband thinks it's HIM, but, nope, I'm afraid he comes in second!) Sooooo, my dream job would be to be a taste tester for an ice-cream manufacturer, such as Ben & Jerry's.0
