MFP security

I tried to log on to MFP earlier today and received a message saying that because of numerous wrong log on attempts I could not log on and to wait an hour and try again.
The odd thing is that I never attempted to log on?
Has this happened to anyone else?
I would be surprised if someone was trying to hack in to my MFP account, but these things happen as we all know.
Thanks.

Creepy. If that happens you should close the window, then open a new one to log in. You don't have to change your password because they obviously didn't get in...0

As I mentioned it was not me that tried to sign in. What has case sensitivity got to do with that?0 -

MFP screwed up somehow a few weeks ago and case sensitivity in passwords got hosed. So in my case, my PAssWord.1 had to become password.1
And when it was fixed, it went back.
In addition, the mobile app still worked fine, it was only the computer login that was messed.0
