Self Motivation Found? Need Friends for Support.

Finally back into the swing of things. I currently weigh 222 with a weight loss of 70#s in the past three years. Very slow as it's hard for me to keep motivated. I've a very stressful six months and I've used everything I can think of as an excuse to not do as I'm supposed to. I want to keep this site interesting again and make friends with others who post frequently and stay motivated hoping that will inspire me to change my ways (most of my friends are the same as me. Evidently that should change).
A little about me: I'm a mom of three (one in Primary school and two in Middle school) and a night shift Nurse in an ER. I'm soon to be divorced with no local family support. The only local gym is not an option (the Y does go off income but I make too much to qualify for any assistance and damn kids cost too much to leave any extra for something like that). I do own an elliptical and plenty of FUN! (dripping with sarcasm) DVDs.
My dream is to start weightlifting but I know that I'll need time and a trainer to start that as I am completely ignorant of the whole thing.
My goal is to lose another 60#s and use weights in the process so I don't look wasted or saggy. Obesity is rampant in my family and I want to stop the trend with me before my kids get too old. I want them to see me being happy and healthy so that they will do the same. Fingers Crossed!
