Change in MyFitnessPal's Sugar Intake Guide

Anybody else notice their sugar intake recommendation doubling in December. I'm talking about MyFitnessPal's recommendations. Mine went from 42 rm to 82 gms in one day.(Dec 27). Sugar industry?

I try to keep my sugars around 30-40 grams a day. I sure won't be doubling my intake. Who knows--sugar industry has the fingers in lots of pies.1

Probably the fact that the original sugar ceiling was ridiculously low and unless you're diabetic or have a medical reason to avoid sugar, there's no reason to worry about sugar intake aside from watching overall carb intake. Don't be jumping into conspiracy theories about the sugar industry lol1 -
Yeah lol. The WHO recommends 24 grams/day. I set mine to 40, My Fitness Pal periodically resets it to 80. Just did it again. lol.
