Which yogurt without artificial sweetener is best?

I can no longer get the yogurt I was eating at my grocery store. I'm trying to find a new yogurt that is low in sugar and calories (& price), but does not have artificial sweetener and still tastes good. Any ideas?

Stonyfield or Fage plain Greek yogurt, mixed with anything you want... Fruit, nuts, honey, jam, chocolate for sweet. Or lime, salt, ranch seasoning, salsa, hot sauce... So versatile. You should try it!0

Chobani is pretty good. The balance of sugar and protein has been acceptable to me . I also tried their 100 calorie, low sugar. It uses stevia leaf extract for some of the sweetness. It was a lot more tart than their normal, but some people like it that way, and the stevia leaf is a more natural sugar substitute than most.0

I heat the milk for mine in the crockpot then fill 2 quart jars with HOT water (around 130 degree, I usually have to microwave it to get it that warm as my tap is set lower). Put the liquid yogurt into containers, cover, put in my smallish cooler with the jars of water (sealed). Cover with a towel, close the cooler, and let set 12 hours/overnight. Comes out great every time. Then I usually strain it because I prefer the thicker, creamier consistency.
If we're talking store bought, though, I am a fan of Fage Total 2% plain and then I add in whatever fruits, sweeteners or flavors I want.0 -
I love Dannon Oikos full fat plain yogurt. It is delicious and has no added sugar whatsoever. I usually mix it with some frozen blueberries, almonds, bananas or something of that nature. It's also a great substitute for sour cream in recipes.
My TRUE favorite is Wallaby Organic Greek yogurt - the 2% is so creamy and light. Unfortunately I moved far away from Whole Foods and haven't seen it anywhere else.0 -

Wow I have never thought about mixing salsa or hot sauce with yogurt...when I'm d!one with this cold I am totally going to try it! Salt and lime? wow - mind blown.
One step further would be salt & vinegar but that is probably pushing the envelope a little much.
(I'm obviously craving foods I can't eat because of this stupid throat!) off to make more tea.0 -

I love Chobani. Pineapple is my favorite.
Have you ever noticed how much protein is in Chobani? Wow..it is something like 25% RDA.0 -
It's usually less expensive to buy yogurt in the larger quart containers and portion out what I want. The calories listed on it are usually for a full cup, but I tend to only want half cup servings. And I've found that the unsweetened low fat store brand actually has less calories and sugars than the name brands.
I like to add a drop of vanilla and either cinnamon or some pumpkin pie spice. Or I'll add a couple drops of those liquid water flavor drops (like Mio or Crystal Light) if I want a fruity flavor.0 -

I use 1/2 gallon of 1% milk and then mix in 1.5 cups of instant nonfat dry milk. heat to 180* in crockpot (or microwave or stovetop or however you prefer). Turn off heat and stir in approximately 3oz of store bought Greek yogurt - doesn't have to be exact (this introduces the cultures/bacteria that make it turn solid), mix it well. Pour off into containers with lids and put the lids on, then I put it in my cooler with 2 quart jars that I have filled with 130-degree water and put a lid on. These go in the cooler too. Then cover the whole bunch with a towel, close the cooler, and let it set 12-15 hours. The residual heat from the warm yogurt plus the radiant heat from the water is just right to keep it warm enough to set.0 -
I tried Melissa D'Arabian's recipe for homemade yogurt but it was too late in the year to really get a nice warm garage for the fermenting process (my oven doesn't go low enough for that method). Never thought to try the crock pot. Mine came out really runny, so much so that when using my yogurt strainer it all ran straight through. I'll have to try again!
For storebought I love Chobani Mango but I buy the strawberry because I can get it in bigger containers. I get the zero fat and it does have a nice amount of protein!0 -
siggi's icelandic skyr. high in protein, low in natural sugar, and delicious.0

I eat the full fat plain greek (currently cabot) because its has a great creamy taste. I don't care for the flavor of the low fat, so I mix things in if I get it.
I also buy the large container and just dish it out. Less plastic.0 -
Oikos is my favorite brand.0

Chobani sweetened with Stevia. Look for the green leaf.0
