Stuck!

Hello! I am a gluten free vegan, and have lost weight continuously up until a month ago. I started at 268lbs, and am now 250lbs. I have started doing cardio (on the eliptical for 10-15 minutes), and I am doing some weights; only at home though. I drink at least 8 servings of water a day, and I drink nothing else. I am very conscious of salt and fat in the things I eat, and the calories per serving.
I am very very out of shape, and I don't know what else to do. I plan on moving more to eating just fruits and vegetables, instead of gluten free alternatives. But exercise wise, I'm kind of clueless as to what to do. I am a pear shaped female, and I am not comfortable working out in public gym just yet. I am taking a multi vitamin, a vitamin b complex, a vitamin d, and a vitamin b6&b12. They are are all vegan supplements.
If anyone has any ideas on what I could do to start losing weight again, that would be awesome and super appreciated.

You need to open your food diary if you want suggestions with this type of question. However, based on past experiences i would not be surprised at all if you needed to eat more food. However i will just leave it at that since your food log is not yet open for us to see it.0

If you don't have a food scale or if you aren't using it frequently, that's the most important thing you can do to improve the accuracy of your food log. You want to be confident in your caloric intake and be as accurate as you possibly can.
As for exercise, you can expect to retain a bit of water when you first start working out, so if you only recently added your exercise routine, that could account for "stalling" a bit. Are you taking measurements? The scale is the easiest way to track your progress but it's by far not the most accurate way to determine whether you're losing body fat.0 -
The general answer is to eat less food.
Open your diary if you want suggestions that are actually helpful.0 -
You didn't mention how many calories you eat per day and if you weigh your food. You may be eating more than you think:

for exercise you can start with buying a few dvd's. Or check out youtube, it has a lot of free workouts there. Tiffany Rothe, The butt bible are just a couple I can think of on youtube this early in the morning. I live too far from town to go to the gym so I depend on my dvd's and my exercise bike to get me to my goals. If you can afford and have room for it then pick up an inexpensive exercise bike. Exercise bikes are a great cardio workout and are easy on the joints.
as for your meals, I am not a vegan so I think I would be pretty useless in that department. You could make sure you are weighing and measuring everything. And don't let yourself get too hungry. When I let myself get too hungry I go on the hunt and totally destroy my kitchen so I try hard to make sure I eat, even if it is just a small snack when my body tells me it is hungry.0
