Stay at home mom changing life and lifestyle

Hi everyone! My name is Meaghan. I am a 33 year old stay at home mom of two kids. I was a full time teacher for 5 years and resigned my position in October of 2013 to stay home with my kids because of some issues my daughter was having. Now that I am a stay at home mom, I have no excuses anymore. I don't have the excuse of not having enough time, being tired, etc. I always wanted to lose my weight, but because of time constraint I made the decision that I didn't have to put myself first. Well, things have changed. I have no excuses. I have to do this for myself, my children, and my husband. I want to live for them.
I have been heavy all of my adult life and have been on many different diets to lose weight, but in the end I would lose the weight and gain it right back plus some. I met my wonderful husband who accepted me for who I was, so I felt I didn't need to change. Then came my pregnancies with my 2 kids in 2009 and 2012. After having each baby, I dropped 50-60 pounds in less than a month because of not eating well and all. People would tell me that is great. How is it great when I feel sick all of the time? After this went away, I felt that since my tastes were back I could eat what I wanted and eat I did.
Now, I look at my kids and I want to be alive for them everyday that I can. I want to have the energy to keep up with an active almost 5 year old daughter and 16 month old son. I want them to be healthy so that they don't have to live the life and struggles that I have with my weight. I can't live like this anymore. I am setting little mini goals for myself, but my overall goal is to lose 158 pounds! A whole person! I have to do this for myself and put myself first. This is my journey!
