Weight Loss and Insanity?

I started Insanity almost two weeks ago. Prior to Insanity, I was doing my own body weight workouts every other day and cardio 3x week. I'm a college athlete, so a lot of what I do isn't determined by me. I lost most of my weight in the past three months (21 lbs) and am trying to lose the last 9 lbs. Got on the scale this morning and only lost 1/2 lb. I've been on a 1900 calorie diet religiously and do my insanity workout every day (in addition to short ab/quad/hamstring workouts every other day). Is there something I'm missing? I'm 5'9'', 164 lbs and 19 years old. Thanks!

The only thing you are missing is patience.
It is VERY COMMOM for people to gain scale weight in the first month of Insanity. It's different from what you are used to doing, your body is adjusting.0 -
thank you for your response; that is very reassuring. I will try to be more patient!0

Perhaps this will help. When I did Insanity last year I lost 1 pound in the first month, 2 pounds during recovery week and 2 pounds the first week of month 2. What that doesn't tell you is I lost approximately 12 inches overall during the first month. Best advice I can give you is throw your scale away until you are done with Insanity.0
