Why would it weight less boiled? Weight the potato just before going into the water.0

I eat a sweet potato almost every day and I weigh it before baking.0

There are separate entries for raw and cooked sweet potatoes. I usually do the raw weight, just my preference. Easier to keep the scale clean.
Search for "sweet potato raw" and enter 233 g.0 -
I've found it doesn't change much but the most accurate way to figure it out is weigh it before and then after it's cooked and if it's changed you just do the math so you can find out how many cals are in the cooked portion for leftovers. Raw is the correct amount of calories for anything really because you never know how much moisture will be lost or absorb through cooking0

If you weighed it raw, use that. I don't know about boiling, but I've read sweet potatoes lose up to have their water when you bake them, but they don't lose calories. So you'll get a more accurate count raw.0
