Not weight loss success but still exciting for me.

Hi, just wanted to share.
Before I have started all this journey of weight loss (1 year and 9 months ago) I have not been overweight. Within normal BMI. Sometimes in the middle, sometimes at the higher point. I have never been tracking calories, never exercised on regular basis (going out to the night club and dancing all night after few tequilas does not count). I was pretty happy with my body until I had a baby... My weight gain was not too big around 15 lbs, but body composition was absolutely horrible for me.
So, I have joined the YMCA when my son was 3 month old and I could not stay on the elliptical more then 10 minutes. Then I took my first Zumba class and nearly died after 20 minutes! But I kept coming back. So, in 1 year I became a Zumba instructor myself, a month ago I've got certified as a group fitness instructor and in my plans is to get some education in nutrition.
I could never run before. It was too boring, to difficult for me. So, yesterday, I came on the treadmill, covered the screen and ran. When my workout was done, I could not believe my eyes! I ran for 4.5 miles and did not feel like I was ready to pass out! I guess, it is time to try my first 5 mile race!
Thank you all for support, your blogs, advise! I could never do this without this website.

WOW!!! Well done. I need a boost and you've given me that and some inspiration too. I have been very depressed recently and the punds have slowly creeped up - time to take charge i think.

I'm glad it could help! remember that it is not just about lbs lost! It is about what you can do, how far you've gone. Even if you have slipped it is not over! It is more experience, learn from your mistakes.

Last year I have ganed what I've originally lost after Halloween, Thnksgiving, Christmas... This year I have promised myself that it won't happen again!
